When the vehicle went on a section of the road lined by trees in the mountainous area, a boulder suddenly tumbled down the hill, hitting the rear end of the bus, reported Chengdu-based Huaxi Metropolis Daily.
據成都華西都市報報道，當車輛行駛在山區樹木林立的路段時，一塊巨石突然從山上滾下，撞到公共汽車的尾部。
Lyu Xinyi, a six-grader from Wuhan in Hubei province, was on the last row of seat on the bus along with her parents. When the boulder hit the vehicle, the girl’s parents used their bodies to protect her who was sitting between them.
來自湖北省武漢市的六年級學生呂欣怡和她的父母當時坐在公交車最後一排座位上。當巨石撞到車上時，女孩的父母用他們的身體來保護坐在中間的她。
The mother died instantly, and the father used his last strength to break the window and push his daughter out of the bus. He later succumbed to his injuries, but his daughter was saved.
